CONTRA: THE BOARD GAME is a cooperative board game of strategic action for 1-4 players that recreates the classic run-and-gun gameplay of the Contra experience, providing deep and strategic choices.
Utilizing the Modular Deck System, create a quick-playing experience that harkens back to the run-and-gun gameplay of the Contra video games. Each game is created by selecting a mission deck, an enemy deck, and a commando deck for each player; and since each deck is fixed, players just need to choose their decks, shuffle up, and play!
Each game requires thoughtful hand management and dice manipulation to survive the commandos’ trek through enemy territory in an effort to defeat powerful bosses!
